Creative Island Malta

Creative Island Launch!

The magical opening of Creative Island was at L’Ingliz Tea Rooms, Valletta. For a night, St John’s Street was transformed into a creative playground full of fun and wizardry! Elixirs and potions, magical cupcakes and mystical pastizzi were sold on the night to help you find your true love and fortune!

Amongst the mayhem, presented by Joseph Zammit, was an enchanting performance by Ian Schranz and Katryna Storace from Bark Bark Disco & Stolen Creep, a theatrical and comical mime about the history of Maltese women by Marieclaire Camillieri and an exciting one off performance by Cikku l-Poplu singing nostalgic songs from past Burlesque shows.

Artistic stalls were by Pastizzi Gourmet, Martha’s Cakes and Bakes, Karly Cole crafts and henna painting, Experimental Creations, Stefan Vella, Clare’s Jewellery, P.Creations and Emerald Inceptions. There was also face painting by Emma Beard and fortune telling by Jo the wizard.
